Tower Ascension

Tower Ascension is a roguelike with a card combat system in proper Slay the Spire style where players have to climb a tower full of monsters and other dangers. Along the way, if you want to survive, you've got to go about upgrading your deck of cards.

The battle system in Tower Ascension is practically identical to the aforementioned Slay the Spire. Players have three energy points available to use to play their cards, mainly divided into attack, defense, and object cards. Players can find out in each turn what their opponents are going to do, so you'll know if they plan to attack, defend, or do some other action.

Between battles, players can select the path through which they want to ascend the tower. You may encounter more or fewer monsters depending on which way you go, not to mention special events and even shops you can visit. These shops in Tower Ascension are very important, as not only do they let you buy cards and artifacts but also remove cards from your deck.

Tower Ascension is a very fun game that may not offer a particularly original experience, as it's nearly identical to Slay the Spire, but does manage to successfully adapt the genre to Android devices. Plus the game has some original cards and a unique aesthetic.
